Does this work with my AI subscription?

Embercrank connects to supported Codex and Claude Code workflows. Provider access and usage limits still apply; Embercrank does not increase your subscription allowance.

When does routing kick in?

Embercrank only manages jobs explicitly sent through its connector. It does not intercept unrelated host actions or ordinary provider chat.

How do I connect Claude Code?

The current Claude adapter runs through a separately authenticated local Claude Code CLI. Keep that provider login and provider task history with the provider; a desktop-app session is not copied into the adapter.

Billing, cancellation and launch status

After the card-backed trial, the selected recurring plan converts unless cancelled before the trial ends. Cancel in the billing portal before the next renewal; contact contact@embercrank.com if the portal is unavailable. Access activates after billing confirmation, not merely after a checkout redirect.

Paid public launch remains pending release. Embercrank is operated by Nateleigh Investments Limited (company no. 8030162, NZBN 9429048334174).

What Embercrank counts

An accepted routing request counts once. A transport retry does not add another run; a fresh recovery request is another accepted run. Basic and Power allowances reset each UTC month. Failed validation does not automatically refund a reservation.

Use is subject to applicable law and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited remain intact. Embercrank routes work and reports decisions/check results; it does not guarantee correctness, provider availability or a particular outcome. Account creation is not a purchase.

Acceptable use

Use Embercrank only with projects and accounts you are authorised to access. Do not use it to break the law, violate provider terms, expose another person’s private information, or submit secrets and credentials. You remain responsible for reviewing generated work, checks and provider requirements.

Privacy and beta terms

Hosted Embercrank systems do not retain task content such as prompts, briefs, source, results or content hashes. They do retain account, billing, security and normalized operational metadata needed to provide the service. Native host and provider task history follows your own settings and those providers’ policies; this is not a universal zero-retention claim.

This is a private prelaunch review. Availability, supported tools and model access may change. Review generated work and validation results before relying on it.
